Sarah Robson achieved her first badge, presented here by club Secretary Carole Reaney. Sarah has only been shooting for a few weeks, so is proving to be a talent - no doubt encouraged by her husband Rickie - himself a keen archer at the club.
There are a range of badges awarded as an ongoing incentive to members to keep them challenged and improving. The 252 badge scheme gives new members a target to strive for and a benchmark for their improving skill level.
This badge consists of shooting 3 dozen arrows at increasing distances using the 5 zone scoring system, when a score of 252 or more is shot 3 times, a badge is won.
