Eleven Bridlington Bay Archers travelled to Adel near Leeds, to shoot in the annual 'end of season' tournament. This comprised Long Western rounds for the adults and shorter Western-family rounds for juniors.
The event was hosted by The Bowmen of Adel, at the Adel War Memorial Sport and Social Club. As you can see from the photograph the weather was kind and the trophies & medals excellent.
David and Liam took the Team Trophy, while Sharron and Liam took the Family Trophy. Liam faired well in the 80 yard section, shooting amongst adult archers, though still a junior. Ricky and Sarah got the Jack and Jill trophy for highest scoring married couple. Poppy Traves won the under 14 junior Ladies barebow section. Mya-Jade went along as a supporter to observe her first big tournament - but as a keen newcomer she'll soon be winning medals of her own.
